  • Edward Harriott birth

    Hello all

My 6th Grt Grandfather Edward Harriott was born 1773 according to his death cert.

He was a farrier by trade and by the looks of it he lived and worked his whole life in Middlesex.

I was wondering if anybody can help me locate his baptism/birth?

He married a lady named Christiana Pruden (unsure when and where married)
Their first child was born in Bishopsgate London in 1796.

Any help with marriage or birth would be fantastic.

    sorry Danny,

I checked the LDS but could only see the sons baptism (edward john)

did he leave a will at all? was his marriage by licence? (there might have been bonds or allegations if he was married by licence.)

IGI - There is a marriage between an Edward Harriott and Elizabeth Burnell in 1771 at St Giles, Cripplegate. Would it be worth checking parish records to see if there were any children to this marriage?
A couple of the trees on Ancestry say he was born in Edmunton in 1776 but no source details

      All the best

Im not sure how he was married but Im hoping to locate it soon as Im sure it happened near to where the first child was born.

Thankyou Ayse, I will look into the marriage you found and see if perhaps there might be some link.
