  • 1901 Census - Cant read the handwritting

    Hi, I am trying to read the attachted occupations from a 1901 census record of Frederick Western and Family of Bristol.

    I can make out the first one - General Labourer
    The second is Stone something - this is for a female though so make be wrong
    The third is Pottery something
    The fourth I can't make out at all

    Can anyone help me

        Does the 4th one say coat presser, Tailor?

          Number 3 looks to me like it has full stops in it, like so
          Pottery. Stone Ware.

            Looks as if the enumerator has added in "Tailor" against "Coat presser".
