Can´t imagine the year of marriage would have been 1877 as they would have only been aged 7 and 9!
Looking at the children´s age a marriage c 1891/1892 is more realistic

They seem to be married by 1891
RG12; Piece: 341; Folio 91; Page 46
- so presumably a marriage just before that date - which I still cannot see!

Interestingly, there is a Thomas Ramswell marriage in Dec Q 1901 in Southwark, but not to Clara Kendrick.
Do you think they may have just lived togather as common law man and wife?

the 1901 was to Mary ann Wells. Sorry the marriage should have 1887 not 1877

James have you search freebmd just using the firstnames & 1887 +/- 2 years. That's worked for me before when the surnames have been spelt differently.

Well done Elaine.
Looking at all marriages June 1887 St Saviour there's quite a few L surnames showing as new entries so coverage of this year mustn't be 100% yet.
