Missing 1861 Census

I am looking for a 1861 census record for Elizabeth Milsom (not sure of age - prob 18-25) and her son William John Milsom - born 1853, Bedminster, Bristol (so age 8).

They will still be in or around the bedminster / temple area of bristol.

I have tried a few versions of milsom but no joy.

Any help very much appreciated.

Do you know if Elizabeth Milsom married between birth of son and the 1861 census?

I have William John Milsom's birth cert - says born 1853 in Bedminster, Bristol - no father's name recorded - mothers name - Elizabeth Milsom.

Its the father's name I need to follow the line back - thought maybe the 1861 census would help but can't find them - she might have married but again all I have his her son's birth certificate - its making it tricky to make progress.

William Milsom to Eliza Jones - Swansea - Jan Mar 1873, 11a 805

Awaiting certificate at the moment - I am hoping the father will be detailed. But if not I am very stuck.

There is a possible marriage on freeBMD for an Elizabeth Milsom to a Charles Dunn,

The 1861 census shows a family of Elizabeth and Charles Dunn, with son William born 1853 Bristol.
No idea if its the right family though but worth looking at!

- transcribed as Dann, but I think it is Dunn.

There is a Charles Dann bn 1834 that dies in 1870 reg area Bristol, Avon Gloucester


Not sure if this could be the same man or not.
