    Hi Allan

She's not with the family in 1881 and I can't see her elsewhere in 1881. The only Elizabeth Beswick on the 1881 census born in Derbyshire was born in 1876. So I guess the only way to find out would be to get the cert

Edit: she's not with them in 1891 either

The best that I can find for her in 1881 is an Eliza Bestwich born c1871 Alfreton, Derbyshire. Don't know if this comes under the Hayfield reg district.

just thought you might like to knowthat i found Beswick mistranscribed as Berwick in that area. also hayfield district covered buxton and fairfield too which may make a difference when you do searches.
