Suddenly getting Ads on GR

all of a sudden I am getting half a page of ads on GR any ideas why and how to stop them Than:(ks

IE8 and I have Kaspersky internet suite so dont understand it Mary

I'm not getting any ads on GR with Firefox and Adblock Plus.

No idea how IE8 or Kaspersky work. Does it have an adblocker?

Val have you made sure your box is still ticked in no for banners and the one for add ones I think ??? in kasparsky ;;if its changed run a scan ;;

Val its just on the page when you open Kapasky suite and check under content filtering andmake sure banner ad blocking is green ;;;

your a quicker learner Babs ??? I found it and its all checked except the parental control and when I clicked that I couldnt access ancestry images so unchecked it again LOL

Got a feeling it's to do with new owners. Noticed a lot of complaints over the weekend with members being logged out and having to log in again - repeatedly. Just been trying to get on now but can't connect yet was on site 10 mins ago........ so came on here for a mosey round!

I use IE7 and have not had any adverts pester me.

I wonder if it is anything to do with IE 8. I read in a magazine last week that it is intended to be used with Windows 7 when it arrives.
