  • Can anyone read this signature?

    ...it's the top one.

If it's any help, the groom's name was Senier and the bride's was Biggs.

I think the first name starts with a B??

Thanks everyone - it hadn't occurred to me the last word could be 'junr'.

Makes more sense than any of my guesses!

Woo, this could be a breakthrough - I've been stuck on this branch for several years!

Just checked on the census and found a Richard Jeune (he's 60 so probably not Richard Jeune junr!) but on the same page is a Thomas Biggs (same name as the bride). Not sure what it means but something else to follow up!

            Thanks again everyone

Don't know what your dates are for this, but there's an IGI marriage:
24 NOV 1806 Saint John, Eltham, Kent RICHARD JEUNE / MARTHA GIULLIARD batch M067821

A couple of RICHARD JEUNE baptisms:
21 JUL 1774 Allhallows London Wall, London, s of WILLIAM JEUNE & ELIZABETH batch P000852
31 JUL 1814 Allhallows London Wall, London, s of RICHARD JEUNE & MARTHA batch C000854 (There's a sister, Elizabeth, in the same batch - and lots more [potential siblings if you drop the batch number but just leave the parents' names)

              A submitted birth:
Richard Jeune 20 APR 1746 Saint Martins, Shropshire
