mary jane howard b 1848/49 Liverpool

Good morning...this is not my family...I am trying to help someone..
we have the marriage of
Richard Howard to Elizabeth Cowley June qtr 1838.they go to live in Pye Place in L`pool, just outside the city centre...they have a son in 1840..
they then move to Gascoyne St
.on the 1851 census there is Mary Jane Howard aged 2....1861 census Mary Jane aged 13 and 1871 aged 23 married to Richard Harrison....
Mary Jane Howard would have been registered Liverpool for her birth...by her address in Gascoyne St...the contact tells me she was definitely born Gascoyne St...so this rules out West Derby or Toxteth Park offices...the only Mary Jane Howard I can find registered Liverpool is ..1840....so we can`t find
Mary Jane Howard b 1848/49 registered Liverpool.....any ideas ?....allan

One possible answer is that she may have been registered using the first name of Mary only - three possibles in 1848 Sept quarter.
