  • How to copy pictures out of FTM 2006 scrap book?

Does anybody know if there is any way to copy the photos in someones scrapbook?

My contact has sent me a copy of their FTM file and there are several photos in the scrapbooks, however I cannot right click them to copy and paste.

Does anyone know of another way to do it?

The only think I can think of is doing a screen shot but then the quality won't be very high.

    Thanks in advance,

    Tom

I think you right click on the image and choose "copy/Copy Picture/Object"

This copies the picture to the clipboard so you will have to paste it into a graphics program and save it.

I have FTM 2006, and if I right-click on a photo in the individual scrapbook it gives me the option to copy it.

        ah-har!

You have to right click it when it is in the small little box, not when you have opened it and can see it bigger.

So now I have got it into microsoft word, how do I save it as an image rather than a word document?

Have worked it out now by putting it into Microsoft Digital IMage thingy.

          Thanks Mary and Wendy

You need a graphics program to be able to save it. You should be able to do it using Paint.
