1861 Sandy Lane, Tonge, Middleton ?

Samuel Taylor born 1814 Oldham and wife Betty..
Many years ago in Oldham Archives I traced my family and found them in 1851 at Copsterhill, Oldham..
I can find none of them after that date except for Jane who married 9 5 1849.
BUT... for some reason I have noted Samuel Taylor as a lodger at Sandy Lane, Tonge, Middleton in 1861...
I now have my doubts that this would be correct but try as I might I can't find him on Ancestry at Sandy Lane Tonge...

Does anyone know how I can search for Sandy Lane Tonge , Middleton in 1861 then I can check each address

This is not my family but it may be the origin of my mistake... My Samuel was a miner...
But you have resolved my problem and I have searched through all the houses on Sandy Lane and no other Samuel Taylor.
If I kept proper notes I could learn from my mistakes.

It's so easy to get into a muddle - I have been clearing a drawer this morning. All sorts of miscellaneous notes and print-outs! I always seem to have filing to do!

The information I have is that James and Betty Taylor( nee Hulley ) at Copsterhill are the parents of Jane Taylor born May 1849.
Ref 107 2240 page 18... Jane is shown as 4 but would have been 2
I have checked Lancashire BMD and both Charlotte and Edwins mothers maiden name was Hulley.... so the right family..

However I have found no trace of any of those shown on the 1851 census in any subsequent census... and when Jane marries in 1868 her father Samuel is deceased.

I have a Jane Taylor age 14 a lodger in Mossley but unsure if it is her.

i dont know if oldham is covered by lancashire bmd?
