BMD search- do I understand this properly?

I have found the name Maria Ann Taphouse in BMD records which says she was married in Lambeth in 1850 3rd Quarter page 4 - 297.

I have assumed that her husband George Parker would appear as another entry in 1850 in Lambeth 3rd quarter, sporting the same reference (4-297), ... but he doesn't.

Should I expect Maria and George to have the same 4-297 reference? .....
.... or have I misunderstood how this works?

Any advice will be greatfully accepted

I am so STUPID.

I got my surnames all mixed up.

When looking for George Hampson, I found the 4-297 match.

I am sorry for wasting your time ..
(At least I did answer my own problem )
