FTM help please

Hi all

I have FTM 2006 and have recently found i have 2 Adam Underwoods marrying 2 Marys, but it should be 1 Adam marrying twice, both wives called Mary.

Is it as easy as detaching the second Adam and attaching the second mary to the first Adam as a second wife, both Marys have children.

I`m just not sure if this is the right way and don`t want to muck it up.

Any help appreciated please

Yes, you can do it that way Sylvia.
The other option is PEOPLE/MERGE TWO SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS which might be easier.

As with any merge or attach/delete procedure - it is advisable to make sure you back you file up first.

Thank you Elaine, it wouldn`t let me do the PEOPLE/MERGE one, but the other way worked fine
