The BMD list on ancestry.co.uk cites "marriages and Divorce" but I can't seem to find any divorces!

I'm looking for a recent one (1957+) - should I give up or am I missing something?

Many thanks

You might find the research guides from the National Archives useful
Divorce Records in England and Wales after 1858 (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/catalogue/RdLeaflet.asp?sLeafletID=53)
Divorce Records Before 1858 (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/catalogue/RdLeaflet.asp?sLeafletID=260)

Thanks very much Elaine.

So if they don't exist, why does ancestry list 'Marriages and Divorces'? Hmmmm ...

Not sure where you are finding the reference to Divorces on Ancestry.

There might be some USA records. There are some USA (individual state) divorce databases on some sites.
