Hello all

I have an ancestor by the name of Edward Harriott who was a Farrier in London during the late 1700's to early 1800's.
I have been in touch with the Worshipful company of Farriers and they have no record of him but say he more than likely undertook a private apprenticeship.
Does anybody know whether the likes of Farriers would leave a will or is it unlikely?

Many thanks

Danny

All sorts of people left Wills - and some surprising ones didn't, I think all you can do is look for one, on the off-chance.

There's a section in the Wiki about Wills & probate.
