Missing family on the 1881/1891 census

Hello folks,

I have a mystery concerning the following as they appear to be missing from the 1881/1891 census...any help in locating them will be much appreciated..

1871 cenus 49, Gt Barr St, Aston, Birmingham RG10/3141/138/14

Elizabeth Strickley, widow, 30, dressmaker, b Tanworth, Earlswood.
Emma Strickley, 3, b B'ham
Charles Strickley, 11 months, b B'ham

Plus 3 male lodgers.
.................................

NOTE:
Emma Strickley I have found on all the other census up to the 1911,always in B'ham & I have her marriage cert etc.

Charles R Strickley I have found on the 1901 & 1911 census still in B'ham.

So WHERE are Charles & Elizabeth on the 1881/1891. Elizabeth is a witness on a 1877 marriage cert.......... HELP !!!!

Hello again,

Ellen WAS with her grandparents in 1881....I have traced her through to 1911.

Charles married Catherine (Gorman) in 1892, he & his family are on the 1901/1911 census's.

I did actually try to track the Strickley/Kyte married couple but the ages did not match at all......
