Hiya...I went to Toxteth Park Cemetery today looking for 15 graves...I found 5...one of which was for someone from South Australia...the grave of
Thomas Pendlebury Mitchell who died on 4th April 1910....
but...he is buried with....
the TEARE FAMILY..
John Teare / Jane Teare / Lotte Anne Teare aged 7 then
Amy Alexandra Kneen
I have researched Amy Alexandra Kneen and she was born Sep Qtr 1902...she died June qtr `1903 aged 7 and a half months....so...I was puzzled why a Mitchell would be buried with these families....
then I found
Sept Qtr 1843 Humphrey Mitchell to Ann Teare in Liverpool...
Thomas Mitchell was born dec qtr 1839....so it doesn`t look like Humphreys son....so can we find for this lady fom Australia ....how Humphrey and Thomas are related...this may explain why Thomas was buried with the Teare family....and then how Amy Kneen is related to the Teare or Mitchell family..she is on holiday until 10th August ,so I thought it would be a nice surprise for her on her return....she doesn`t know about the Teare or Kneen family....

Thanks Elaine...this was the problem...Thomas died in an old mariners home in BIRKENHEAD....this lady from Australia couldn`t find his burial...
then someone sent her the details
Thomas Pendlebury Mitchell consecrated 6th April 1910..B right 352 Toxteth Park Cemetery.....so when I went today I found his grave I didn`t expect to see the Teare and Kneen family with him....cheers...allan;)

Am trying to find the Teare family in 1901 and then work back through the census to see if we can find a link with the Mitchell family. Back later!

looks like the 6 is missing from the headstone...or am I clutching at straws...can`t find any other death for a Lotte / Charlotte Teare...in Liverpool..this would make Charlotte b 1823 ish.....so where do John and Jane fit in ?....allan:o
