Another photo from c1895 for restoration please

This is of my Grandad with his cricket team - he's in the middle of the middle row (white shirt). I reckon it was taken in about 1895. Could someone please restore it in sepia?

I got the best result with B&W Joy. Unfortunately, the browns/sepias were very blotchy and random over the surface of the photo, and it was difficult to get an even tone, as some of the areas were still coming up in B&W.
Sadly some of the boys faces have all but disappeared over time and exposure.
Someone a little more experienced may be able to stabalize the sepia for you.
Lovely photo though Joy and some handsome boys there.;)

Thank you both so much! I thought this would be a tricky one given the patchiness and the obliteration of some of the faces, but it looks so much better now. I've only recently discovered that this photo existed, and I'm delighted that you've managed to restore it so well.
