    Can somebody please tell me what they think the occupation is of Elizabeth Harriotts father which is the 3rd baptism down?

        Could it possibly be 'farrier' ?

          I would prefer it to be Farrier than Farmer if im honest.

                Looking at all the other occupations and bearing in mind this is Southwark (very urban) I would say farrier would be more likely than farmer.

                          My feeling is Farrier because the word outline is longer than Farmer - there seem to be too many letters for Farmer, but I included it just in case the Vicar's handwriting stuttered!

                            I think It to be Farrier now also, however I think thats probably because thats what I want It to be

                            I have emailed The Worshipful company of Farriers London to see if they have mention of an Edward Harriott apprenticed through them.
