I'm trying to trace my OH's great grandfather who came over from Sweden somwe time in the 1800's. We have very little info on him, not even sure of dob, or place of birth. We think he was born in a Swedish compound in St Petersburg, around 1850-1855. We don't know when he came to UK or if there are any records on his entry. At the moment I can't get access to Incoming Passenger lists on Ancestry, and wondered if anyone could have a quick look for me - there are 2 possibilities. He was a Carl Quarnstrom or Charles Quarnstrom, used both those names. He would not have had any family with him, so if he was travelling with others that's not him. Are there any other lists of immigrants to UK I could check?
Thanks
