Another wee FTM 2009 question!

Can someone tell me how to add illegitimate children?

I seem to have rather a lot of them ........................... :D

I can do it providing the mother is single; but can't figure out if there's a way to do it when I've already put a husband on.

Hi Terri, I think you have to add another spouse but don't fill in father's name but then add the children.

Hi Terri, you can change the relationship between parents and a child by doing the following.

Make sure the individual (child) whose relationship you want to change is highlighted in the pedigree view.

Click the PERSON tab.

Click the RELATIONSHIP button.

Click the father or mothers name.

In the editing panel, chose a relationship from the RELATIONSHIP drop down list.

In mine I have the husband shown as Step. FTM then automatically changes the relationship of the other children to half brother or half sister.
