  • I asked a question...

.. the other day about relationships on the 1851 census, I went and looked on the 1861 and found they were grandchildren, also the ages were wrong and I have now sorted that out.
However, I ordered a direct line birth cert to find the father to go back but it turns out he was illegitimate!
Another query is that I have a widowed daughter called Ann Bonner nee Snoswell/Snozwell/Snosell b. 1826 Shaw, Donnington, Berkshire but I can't see a marriage for her?
And I can't find Eliza Snozwell/Snoswell/Snosell or an appropriate marriage for her on the 1861 census!
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks
    Tessie

Is this the Ann Bonner who is shown as a widow, housekeeper to her uncle Merley(?) Smith on the 1871 census?

Ah! See her now on 1851, daughter of Mary Snoswell
