  • Another for some scrubbing-up please

    Please can someone have a go at removing the scratches? I'm not terribly good at this, I keep losing detail. Doesn't matter if some are left, but it would be nice to see it in all its glory.

    Also, can anyone hazard a guess at the age of the boy? Best guess we have for the date of the photo would be about 1906 or 1907: the old chap died in Feb 1908. We know who the girls are, but the boy is not their brother. The girls were born Nov 1892 & Dec 1897.

    Granddad and Grandchildren perhaps the boy is a cousin? He appears to have similar eyebrows and nose.

      as you say James, probably a cousin, but I have a choice of 3 & was trying to narrow it down a bit!

      My personal thought, he is slightly younger than the older girl, which means he is the postboy I've just put in the Costume gallery thread.
