  • Lost on 2 census?

I can understand it if I cannot find a family on 1 census but now they are not on the next one either, neither on 1901 or 1911
Children and mother born in Woolwich
    Surname Wynn
Father Richard in a soup kitchen 1901
    Mother Charlotte
    Children
    Richard
    Eleanor
    Adelaide Married 1912
    Amy
    Henry Married 1914/15

    Any ideas please

Have you looked for likely mistranscriptions, ie Winn, Mynn etc?

You have Richard in 1901 so its his wife and children who aren't there?

I can't see Richard 1901. Can you give me the ref or his age in 1901?

I've had a look but can't find them. Maybe they hid behind the sofa when the enumerator came calling!

Sorry, I've looked in 1901 too but have found no sign.

I've drawn a blank too; I also checked the official 1901 site in case they were mistranscribed, and incoming passenger lists just in case they emigrated and came back.
