Reminder -Ayrshire database

For those who have family in Ayrshire, I can recommend the 'Herald' database hosted by Ayrshire Roots at http://www.ayrshire-roots.co.uk/vSignup/database.php

You have to register, but it is a free site, and there are newspaper BDMs up to 1969 at the present as well as WWI and WW2 casualty databases.

I have used this database before, but there seem to have been substantial additions since my last visit.

I do have ancestors from Ayrshire.

But when I click on the link I get this message.

You do not have permission to view this page.



So I think we have to go to home page by deleting the database bit on the url.
