    ...but sometimes you get a connection.

    I had a message on Ancestry regarding my g g g grandfather Daniel Wingfield this morning from someone in Australia.

    Didn't give me much more info on him or his daugher Emma my g g grandmother but it did yield a photo of my g g grandmother Emma's sister Jane at 100 years old.

    But at least if I find something more on that line (proving difficult the old Wingfields) my connection will be told about it and vice versa.

    A photo is a wonderful thing.

    Glad you at least have a photo of your elusive family.

        No they were from Kent and then moved into London around the early 1800s probably 1820.

        But can't get much further back at the moment.
