Does anyone know when the electoral rolls started? I’m looking for the years 1911 to 1915 for Smethwick, Birmingham.
Thanks
Malcolm

Electoral rolls started in the 1600s!
Electoral rolls are not generally online. You will have to email the relevant county records office to see if they cover those years.
Remember not everyone had the vote in 1911-1915. You also need an address to search them successfully, otherwise it is a long and weary plod.

Thanks OC, I have the name and address from the 1911 census. I’m trying to find out if they were still at that address through 1915.
