Up to 1858 you can search the National Archives site. However, it only has wills proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. They cost £3 to download.

From 1858 to 1903 you can search the death duty index on FindmyPast, which gives the name of the executor or administrator.

Local Record Offices will have copies of wills proved locally.

Finally, you can send off to York for post-1858 wills (£5); it's usually a good idea to check the National Probate Calendar first to be sure there is one, because you don't get your money back from York if there isn't. The Calendar can be viewed at probate registries and some Record Offices, and people on here occasionally offer look-ups.
