thanks to the replies to my thread yesterday.

In Documents the files are all on display as files......but in photo's they are merely listed by name of file, why is this please and can I actually put them back on display as file pictures?

When you're in your folders, at the top of the screen on the left hand side under "view" does it say "list" or "medium(or large) icons"". That determines the way the files in that folder are presented. It sounds like for that particular folder you have them displayed as a list rather than thumbnail icons you see in the other folder.
