Help to retouch the Rennie family photos

Can someone help me to improve the first photos that I have scanned from my family.
I was given Ebenezer as my middle name from this great grandfather so I feel rather close to him in particular.

The last one is my father, he was given Ebenezer as his name.

So far I have no sons and none of my nephews have been given this name so it looks like being lost after my generation passes on,
