  • Help needed....

    .......Please......I cant find the birth of this child Celia Atkins....She is listed on the 1901 census but I cant find any birth for her...Also does her age say 11 months or 11 weeks??

    Class: RG13; Piece: 70; Folio: 56; Page: 17.

    Sorry Rosi where was she suppose to be born , have shut ancestry down now

        Babs she was born in Fulham.....I saw that one too and wondered if that was her but not sure, I might have to get the birth cert to find out.

          Thats only way you would be sure use father and mother as checking points and that way you will only pay £4 not 7 ;;;

                  I agree it says 11 weeks. Sadly the one Babs found died in the Sep quarter 1901. It may be that they registered the birth and death at the same time

                        Thanks everyone, I will order the birth cert tomorrow, Im pretty certain now that that is the one Im looking for, if she was 11 weeks the birth & death dates would make sense

                            11 weeks on 1901 census (taken 31 March 1901) means by the time the September quarter for registration began on 1st July the child would have been 24 weeks. Surely the limit for registration without penalty was 6 weeks so if this registration is your girl it was very late.
