I have that problem. I asked on here a few months ago and got no replies. :(
I would love to know the answer too. Maybe asking on computer help might be better. ;) I will watch with interest.

I have just this minute downloaded the new version and it opened OK for me.

I've given up on Google Earth and just use their maps with street view now.

Libby how can I look at my property on there

Val.....................go to Google search page. Up the top you will see Maps. Click that and put in the address.

When it comes up, you will see Street View. Click that.

I'm not sure how much of the UK is on it. Australia has been on it for a couple of years, but I think we got a trial run. I know my place has a For Sale sign still on it...lol

Now there's a funny thing, I can get google earth at work

I haven't checked to see if we are on street view, will look at that
