How do I hide the AVG/Yahoo tool bar?

Can any one tell me how to remove the AVG/Yahoo tool bar that I have installed in error?

Don't know how I done it but now I can't see how to remove it.

Answers in simple language please!!

When you install AVG it installs the Yahoo tool bar by default if you don't take the tick out of the box to stop it doing so which you can do at the start of the install.

Ron I already had AVG installed on my computer. It must have happened when I changed my avatar picture.
Still can't see how to remove it Val. The AVG logo and Yahoo search bar is all on the same line.

Lesley. PS As you can guess, I am not computer literate. Am inclined to click anywhere and hope for the best and it doesn't always work!

Panic Over!! Like I said, I click anywhere and hope for the best and it has worked. I think I clicked on the word'address' and the normal tool bar appeared.

if you click on a empty space at the top of the screen you should get a pull down menu and can click off the ones you do not want.
