Wireless problems

My laptop has been loosing my wireless connection all morning. I would guess it has happened 15 times in 3 hours!:( It started last week and I have no idea why! I've been wireless for well over a year and nothing has changed!

I'm using windows XP with firefox and have BT broadband, any suggestions welcomed as I'm not much use with computers when they don't do what I want them to!

have you checked who your with?? maybe its your provider .

I'm with BT but I think it is my laptop and something to do with windows as I'm still on my laptop but using Xubuntu(sp?) instead of windows and I've been on line for nearly and hour with no problem.

Have you tried whoever provides your router?

I've got a Belkin, and they've been very helpful when I've had problems.

Perhaps a neighbour has a new thingy operating on the same wavelength as your wireless? (like baby alarms in neighbouring houses can interfere with each other?)
