  • Norton antivirus

There has been discussion on here about Norton and buying from Ebay.
Is it legal to buy a license like that. I need to get new anti virus soon so am looking at all the options.

I have had trend pccillin for years and never had a problem but the Norton is much cheaper.

Yes, it's perfectly legal, what you are paying for is the license to use the proram not the CD, you have to download the program yourself and the seller sends a link for the download from the Norton site and also sends you the license number by e-mail which you have to enter during the install process, no CD is purchased but there's nothing to stop you burning the downloaded file to a CD because you own the license.

There's one seller at the moment on ebay selling the license for a 3 PC, 2 year license for £13, I've purchased it myself for our business systems, full protection for 3 PC's for 2 years, got to be the right price. Norton Internet Security Suite 2009 is far more than an anti virus program read the features that it's got, it's a very good program.
