    Can anyone help? I have hit a brick wall with this one
    James Grinyer born around 1760s could be Lancing in West Sussex, He married Elizabeth Smart of Angmering,Sussex 12 Aug 1784, on the wedding cert say's of Lancing.

    what is it you are trying to achieve?
    i don't think that sussex is well covered on the igi.

      On the other hand, for the price of a year's sub (less than £20 - prob not much more than £10) you can get access to the newly-online Sussex Family History Group (http://www.sfhg.org.uk/) database. Having said that, it's not immediately obvious that the material has (yet) been uploaded which would help you.

      There's quite a lot of family history material available for Sussex - just not so much on the IGI.
