I am trying to find a marriage for William Bourne and Emma Eglesfield or Petty. I am having a very hard time with this couple. They were married around 1860 in Middlesex.

1881 census. Their daughter Nellie names her parents as William Bourne and Emma Egglesfield, but I found a Emma Bourne with her mother Sarah Petty in a 1181 census with her husband William. I'm not sure if they are the same people or not. I can't even find a birth for Nellie who was born in 1882

Are you sure you have the right family - this appears to be the same family in 1891

OK - just to clarify - are you saying NellieĀ“s parents were born in Bethnal Green because you felt that the William/Emma family you have found in the census was the right one?
Not sure what shows up on Canadian marriage certificates - does it give any more info about her father, for example occupation? Was he a witness?Elaine

When looking for William and Emma, these were the only ones that seemed to fit. If I have the right family, William had died by the 1891 census. In the canadian 1901 census she was living with her uncle Charles Egglesfield. I wasn't able to find William or Emma in the 41, 51, or 61 census, so now I'm more confused than ever
