  • frederick childs?

    I have him in 1871/81 wth his family, but i can't seem to see him in 91.
    71 census:Class: RG10; Piece: 1642; Folio: 138; Page: 17
    81 census:Class: RG11; Piece: 1740; Folio: 127; Page: 13
    have looked at deaths between these 10 yrs but there are definately none that are him. any ideas?

    p.s around 1850 to 1900 were there any wars that army etc would have fought in? (sorry for my history being poor)!

            You were looking at the son Frederick born 1886
            Parents are Frederick William Childs born 1864 Chelmsford, wife Serena.

            Possile marriage
            Marriages Jun 1884
            Childs Frederick William
            Payne Serena
            Ongar 4a 277

            Can´t see them in 1891 yet!

                      so fred jr and constance may not be his unless they married after their birth, he must be a boarder or something similar or badly transcribed maybe?

                          1891 census he should be living with wife Serena and son Frederick and daughter Constance.

                                    i am looking at them too late or something! I have henry as a boarder in 1891 but not with edith! I must remember to try looking at a couple of years earlier than the 10 yrs between census'! thanks for this!

                                      look at the image - although he is listed as a boarder, the actual image shows he is married to Edith, son Henry.
