External Hard Drive Help Please

I lost a lot of my photos...don't know how....managed to find out how to get them back from my external hard drive....NOW STUPID QUESTION...are they still in my hard drive?

Linda yes should still be copy in there as far as I know ;;have you tried putting them onto disc as well ;;

Hi thanks...No I haven't, do you think I should do that as well?

The reason we got an external hard drive was because I had so many photos that I hadn't saved and it would have taken forever to save them all so my friend suggested getting the external hard drive

I have external one but only use if for backing up my tree on Family tree maker then storing on there , but I want to put my photos onto discs as well so trying to get them all scanned and into family folders ready to store them on discs ;;

I think that's a great idea. Just yesterday another friend showed me how to sort my photos into different folders, didn't know you could do that.

Perhaps I could do a few every day
