I had the same problem with my new laptops which are indoors and the router is in the garage which is my office ,got the same as you, I eventually found I had to buy another router for these and problem solved .
Wonder if the router needs configuring for it ??????

SnapFiles - software reviews, download freeware and free trial programs
is recommended too
is also worthwhile checking the IP Properties to see if it is set to Automatic or if it is set to use a specific IP Address. If it is set to a specific IP address then that could be causing the problem. Normally you can check by right clicking the network connection in Network Connections and choose Properties, TCP/IP.
found that googling

This is probably a stupid thought - are you saying that when you try and connect to IE (or Mozilla) it is coming up with "no connection" at that point?
If that is the case have you checked under IE/File and made sure that Work Offline is not ticked?
As I said - only a silly thought but I speak from experience on that one!
MarionThere is no absolute truth - and no final answer.

Have you been playing about with your computer's firewall settings? If so you may need to tell it that the network is safe.
One other thing you could do would be to go into system devices (in Control Panel). Find your wireless network card and delete it. Then restart your computer and let it re-detect the card. You may then find the problem is cured.
