  • Need some help with census please.

    Bernard Finnegan b Feb 1891 in Liverpool, his father is John a Dock Labourer. i have him in the 1891 - Class: RG12; Piece: 2921; Folio 101; Page 25;

    I am getting so mixed up trying to go backwards :o

      1891 is good as it also gives you the name of Johns father and brothers

          Ooh, Thankyou Elaine, looks like they are Finn(i)gans there...

          Bernard is my Grandfather, half his children are Finnigans the other Finnegans. This family are cracking me up....Lol

                I have the b cert for Bernard, his name on the m cert is John Bernard............dont why he done that when his brother was John !

                    I have a family on my fathers side 10 boys and they all have their middle name as the 1st name of the previous child must have been fashionable !!!! LOL
                    Still looking back but not sure if I found the right family

                      Not too sure about this. The children match but the parent's ages and places of birth differ from the 1881 census.
