    Hi All

    My grand farther lost an Arm in the 1900 .HE was not in eny of the servesis.would there be record for pepole how had lost limes

    The best I can think of is that when the restricted info is released from the 1911 census it may give some info there as it is an infirmity.

      All I could think of for anyone who has lost a limb would be hospital records. The problem there of course would be where/how did he loose his arm and would any records still exist.

          I think hospital records are subject to a 100 year closure. At least that's what I was told when I tried to view the records of my great grandmothers brother from 1919.
