Changing to wireless

We have ADSL broadband at the moment, but we are soon moving to a country town with really old telephone wires......I'm sure there is a bit of string with a couple of tin cans somewhere in the system...lol

I can change my internet to wireless with the same company I have now (Australia's biggest) but I have to change my email address.

Does anyone know how that will affect sites like FTF, Ancestry, etc ?????

Libby you can use your old e-mail addy to log into site go to your account options and most allow you to change your e-mail addy there ;;

I felt like that when I changed last year but thank god didnt change any as I cancelled the new supplier after 3 weeks lol

If you are moving residence, your provider should be able to transfer your service to the line at the new location, without the need for any account changes such as e-mail address etc.

I am moving addresses and I can keep my ADSL and email address, but the phone lines were used on the ark.

I'm changing to wireless as soon as the thingy comes in the mail. It is cheaper than my current ADSL and still with the same provider. I also get 10 days that I can change back if I don't like it.

So my email address will change, but if I have trouble accessing sites I'll yell.
