        They are online, at National Archives Website, though you have to pay to view.

          I would suggest the Great War Forum, many of the members have a great deal of knowledge and also possess original information, good luck..;)

              If you buy the service records from the National Archives site, it would give you the names of the ships and the dates when he served.

              People on the Great War Forum could then give you details about the area of war the ship was concerned with...there is also quite a lot online if you google the name of the ship.

              The war diaries of many of the ships are available at the National Archives, if you wanted to visit.
