  • Pallots may hold the clue

    Hi

I would really appreciate a lookup if anyone has access to Pallot's Baptism's.

I am looking for John Beeforth (or varients) bc 1801 Hampstead Middlesex.

I can see there is one for a John Bayford, parents John and Elizabeth on ancestry, but can't see the full details so can't be sure. I have 2 more days left on a free trial, which doesn't include baptisms etc unfortunately.

If anyone can spare a few minutes I would be very grateful.

    thanks very much,

    treesa

I am not sure if this could be him? It seems rather late for a baptism. But I am grateful for the lookup though, much appreciated. Does anyone know where else I may be able to look for his baptism?

If you think he was born in Hampstead I would be surprised if he was baptised in St Martin's, you would need to check the Hampstead parish baptism registers.

On census he says Hampstead. Nothing on IGI, unfortunately.

If he was born in 1801 and baptised in 1828 then the baptism would almost certainly say something about him being an adult at the time so I doubt if that's him.

                Yes that's what I thought, but I wasn't sure of any dates/details as I couldn't see them.

So I need the LMA then to see if John was baptized around that time.
