  • Have you ever heard of Pennington? (a place?)

I have googled but cannot seem to see anything.

I have a copy of a will written in 1969.

The deceased says she wishes to be "buried beside my late husband at Pennington".

I have never heard of it, and cannot find any reference to it.

The deceased is actually buried in Ashby De La Zouch, so this is all very confusing.

    She died in Sutton Coldfield.

        Thanks Elaine,

I am supposed to have done that

Thanks - I imagine it might be the Hampshire one.

The Cumbrian Pennington is Pennington-in-Furness and was formerly in Lancashire.
