Hmmm, I suspect they may not be properly indexed as it can only find two matches for the surname Friedrich in the whole database, and looking at the images, it is a first name in those matches.KiteRunner

Having had time to look at it properly, the directories only cover 5 big cities, so although I've found my great-grandfather in some of the Berlin ones, it's not much help as I already had street directory entries for him. I was hoping to find him in Nurnberg or Furth after he left Berlin, but the phone books don't cover those places.KiteRunner
