Can anyone do anything with this please? Would colour be wrong do you think?

Gentle colour would not go amiss but it's always a matter of choice.
If you have the original, then might you be able to scan it again at 300 or a little more ~ without reducing the scale ?
It's a beautifully simple photograph, showing the fashion of the day, but lacking detail (fuzzy) at present because of the file size.
I'll show you what it looks like enlarged a little at this low resolution, so you can see what I mean

Can not tell if that dark shading on the cottage wall is a blemish on the photograph or a damp patch on the pebbledash will remove it if you prefer.
Also the gable end is confusing. The thatch should have a thickness, but it looks like wooden facia with no evidence of thatch on the left.
Happy to alter any bits/colour etc.
