I have a rellie on the 1911 census who is a Portmanton Maker has anyone any idea what this job is? I could think of lots of that might fit but best not!

should be portmanteau, they made suitcases, travelling bags.

when you google, it comes up with the correction. plus i think there was a thread on here a little while ago about them.
