  • 1911: Anyone know which Welsh counties FMP doing first?

This isn't idle curiosity. I am getting the fam. tree ready for my brother's
60th birthday in Aug. To complete it (as far as I am going to go with it ),
I need the 1911 census info for Cardiff, Glamorgan.

Hoping against hope, they tackle Glamorgan first. Is anyone in the know?

    Thanks.

I think they will probably put all the Welsh counties online together, but hope I'm wrong as mine will all be Glamorgan so I would love it if that one was done first and put up as soon as it was ready.

I'm another one who needs South Wales, mainly the Coalmining villages of the Rhondda Valley (Ystradfogwy), and of course Roath, Cardiff. Also have links in Newport Monmouthshire.

Dave - me too! What a coincidence. Ystradfogwy and Roath/Splott.

I'm waiting for Glamorgan too. Still the longer it takes, the more time we have to save up for our credits!

                    Another vote for Glamorgan -

My Dad's family came from there and I'd love to know where my grandfather was in 1911 - he's given me so much grief. He had his surname transcribed to his mother's re-married name in 1901 and has caused me trouble ever since. :(

Freya - a lovely, funny human-friendly disaster waiting to happen....
