Problem with opening e-mail attachments

I am having problems opening attachments on certain e-mails. The ones with a paperclip symbol open fine but having trouble with others. I am getting the following message when I open the e-mail:-

One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because
either:

1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX
controls on this page, or

2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls

As a result the page may not display correctly.

As far as I am aware I have not changed any settings. My operating systems is Windows Vista.

Any ideas please how to solve this?

Try saving the attachments to your computer and try that.
